This website is dedicated the our nearest star, the sun. Its main purpose is to share the results of my hobby, which is imaging the sun in high resolution and in different wavelengths. Within these pages I will collect some of my images to share them with my fellow amateurs astronomers and anyone who would. Amun Ra was the Sun God of ancient Egypt.

Walk across the solar system at the speed of light! The Anchorage Light Speed Planet Walk is a scale model of our solar system. Taking the walk, you experience the relative size of the planets and their distance from the Sun. The scale was chosen so that a leisurely walking pace mimics the speed of light.
